2.  What are the advantages of vinyl windows over wood or aluminums?
Vinyl offers better energy efficiency which helps maintain consistent temperatures inside your home. Vinyl frames have welded corners, which make it air tight and prevent elements such as water and dust from leaking into your home. Vinyl offers the best protection against air and noise infiltration, which means a more comfortable and peaceful living environment. Vinyl maintains its new look over time, eliminating fading and repainting as well as being cost efficient.

3.  What kind of warranty do you offer?
We offer a 5 year warranty on installation and all materials have a warranty through the manufacturer.

4.  Where can I get prices for your products?

Come visit our complete showroom, and our knowledgeable staff will assist you with your remodeling choices. We can arrange evening appointments for those with busy schedules. We believe in being service oriented, so all work is preformed by our staff.

5.  Do you offer installation of your products?
Palladino has qualified installers to get the job right the first time on any job and is proud to announce their new line of Hardwood and Laminate floors.  Many color and style choices and as always, expert installation by our trained specialists.

6.  What window colors are available?

Paradigm offers 24 standard colors or custom colors.

7.  I have an older home and I want to replace the windows and doors.
Can Palladino replicate the look of my current windows?
Absolutely, Paradigm can manufacture window and door units based on your specifications in order to meet your criteria.

8.  What makes vinyl windows the best choice?

Your choice of framing material goes a long way toward determining the longevity and energy of the total window system. Wood windows possess excellent thermal qualities but are prone to weather deterioration and require painting at regular intervals. Aluminum windows are very durable but offer little insulating value because they conduct energy rapidly. Vinyl windows are your best choice because they offer thermal characteristics similar to wood are extremely durable and provide a finish that is virtually maintenance-free. Keep in mind though, that the best performing vinyl window systems have multi-chambered frames with welded corners.

9.  What is argon gas and why is it used with Low E glass?
Argon is a safe colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-flammable insert gas. It is used to reduce heat loss in sealed units by slowing down convection in the air space. Commonly it is used in place of air between the glass panes of an insulated Low E glass unit. Argon's heat conductivity is lower than that of air. And thus it is better insulator and contributes to a lower U-factor. Argon is not an effective solar performer by itself and so; it is used on conjunction with Low E insulated glass. Argon gas is a relatively inexpensive option, and can easily recover its cost in heat savings.

10. What is the best way to get an estimate for new windows and doors?
You need to have someone come to your home, measure your openings, and show you samples before presenting you with an accurate, no obligation free estimate.

11. What is the U-factor?

The U-factor or U-value is the measure of a window's thermal efficiency, based on its resistance to the flow of energy. The lower the U-factor, the more thermally efficient the window.
